Silence Is Golden
As of the beginning of the year, a young couple with a two year old daughter moved into the apartment above me. They have not stopped jumping up and down and slamming cupboards all night, and their daughter has been running back and forth in the living room for one and a half solid hours. If it doesn't stop in fifteen minutes, I'm going up there.

You need to do something about this. I remember Rick (my not-so-ex-husband) bitching about this couple with two small kids who lived on the second floor of his two apartment building for over a year - it was a situation similar to yours. Rick never had the guts to do anything about it, but he bitched constantly about the noise level. My take is that those people do not even realize how noisy they are.
I hope you didn't have to go up there! I'd hate to see what'd you do! hehe! Scary Andrew!
