Was it his own hair, or a wig? He used to have hair at some point in time... I loved the Smashing Pumpkins, I was actually introduced to them by one of my French Professors at Pitt, the very cool Yves Citton who, unfortunately left Pitt and now teaches at the University of Grenoble (you may have caught him when he came to give a talk at Clarion U.)
I love the Smashing Pumpkins and I do remember seeing pictures in an old guitar world and that is his real hair. I wonder why he shaved it all off? Maybe for religious reasons, lol. I noticed that if you check out Billy at the 1:59 mark, he looks a hell of a lot like Colby at that moment. Do you think as well?
